EMILE PARKS started his artistic career as a child using felt tips, crayons and anything else that could make a mark (all over the walls sometimes). Later, in his teenage years, he embraced oils (Boris Vallejo was hugely influential, along with the old masters). He also used acrylics.
When the commercial landscape changed forever with the advent of computers Parks, after much agonizing, made the decision to move away from traditional media for many years.
Now, after many moons have gone by, he has come full circle, re-kindling the passion and excitement with his once-lost idols - Vallejo, Frazetta, Bell, Kelly, Hildebrandt, Caravaggio, Velazquez and Rubens.
